Getting Started Quickly Installing Adaptec Storage Manager on Your Management Station Follow the instructions in this section to install Adaptec Storage Manager on your IPSAN Management Station. Your Adaptec iSA1500 subsystem includes software licenses for three Management agents. Licenses for additional Management agents are available for purchase as upgrades. Contact your Adaptec reseller to purchase additional licenses, or refer to the Adaptec Web site at www.adaptec.com for more information. Note: Only one Management Station is allowed on your IPSAN. (Your Management Station can also be an iSCSI Station.) To install Adaptec Storage Manager on your Management Station: 1 Close all open applications and disable any anti-virus utilities. 2 Insert the Adaptec iSA1500 CD into the CD-ROM drive. The Setup program opens automatically. (If the Setup program does not open, double-click the Setup.exe icon on the CD to begin setup and installation.) 3 When the Welcome screen appears, click Next. 4 Select I accept the terms..., then click Next. The Setup Type window appears. 3-11
