Using CLI agent [community community] [port port] Define a new community and/or a new port used by the agent to access the unit. One or both of the parameters must be supplied in any order but it is illegal to have no parameters. If one parameter is supplied the stored value for the other is left unchanged. The community value can be any string. If it contains white space it must be escaped using double-quotes " ". The port is the port on which it will accept connections. The default value is 161. info Output the agent, system and trap values for the SNMP system. If possible, it will also indicate if the snmpd daemon is running. protocol 1 | 2 Set the SNMP protocol to use as Version 1 or Version 2. system [contact email] [location location] Define new values for the system values which identify the unit. One or both parameters must be supplied in any order but it is illegal to have no parameters. If one parameter is supplied the stored value for the other is left unchanged. The email value is the email address of unit's Administrator. It will be checked to ensure that it looks like a legal email address, in particular that it contains one or no '@' characters and only has legal characters, but it will not be checked to see if it works. If it contains white space it must be enclosed in double-quotes " ". trap [community community] [address address [port port]] trap false Define the values sent to identify the unit. If the only parameter is a false value, no traps will be sent. Otherwise, any number of the parameters may be given to identify the unit although not in any combination; see below for details.
