Editing Designs 117 Change the Alignment in the Align cells (left, right, center) To view these changes as they look in the context of the design, select a column by clicking on it, and then click the Preview button in the final column. 11 Click Save to create the files. The specified files will be generated, and saved to your destination folder. Depending on which setting you chose in step 6, one or all of the files will open in your workspace. Adding Basting Stitches to Designs Youcan create a series of stitches that will baste a rectangular outline around the edge of a design. The stitches start at the top left corner of the design; these initial stitches are just jumps and do not sew. Then, a basting run stitch is sewn around the outer edge in a rectangle (close to the inside edge of the hoop) until complete. The next color is then the starting color of the design.
