Editing Designs 91 Opening and Closing Designs Pacesetter BES Lettering allows you to open designs in a wide variety of file formats. When you open a design file in the design window, your single design file retains the stitches for that design. To open an existing design: 1 Do one of the following:  Click the Open tool on the Quick Access toolbar  Click the Pacesetter Button and select Open from the menu. You see the Open Design dialog box. 2 In the Look in list, browse to the location of the file you want to open. 3 In the Files of type list, select the format for the design you want to open. 4 In the File name box, enter the file name, or select the file you want to open by clicking the file. 5 Select Preview to view a thumbnail (a small representation) of the design. 6 Click Open. To view the contents of a zip (compressed) file, select the zip file and click Open. Select the design you want to open from the unzipped file list and click OK. To open a file you have recently worked on, click the Pacesetter Button and locate it in the "Recently used designs" list. To close a design: • Click the Pacesetter Button , and select Close or Close All from the menu.

Opening and Closing Designs
Pacesetter BES Lettering allows you to open designs in a wide
variety of file formats. When you open a design file in the design
window, your single design file retains the stitches for that
design.
To open an existing design:

Do one of the following:
Click the Open
tool on the Quick Access toolbar
Click the Pacesetter Button
and select Open from
the menu.
You see the Open Design dialog box.

In the Look in list, browse to the location of the file you want
to open.

In the Files of type list, select the format for the design you
want to open.

In the File name box, enter the file name, or select the file
you want to open by clicking the file.

Select Preview to view a thumbnail (a small representation)
of the design.

Click Open.
To close a design:
Click the Pacesetter Button
, and select Close
or
Close All
from the menu.
To view the contents of a zip (compressed) file, select the zip
file and click Open. Select the design you want to open from
the unzipped file list and click OK.
To open a file you have recently worked on, click the Pacesetter
Button
and locate it in the “Recently used designs” list.
