140 Pacesetter BES Lettering Instruction Manual Absolute Pull Compensation: Absolute Pull Compensation adds the same amount (in linear measure, i.e., inches or mm.) of compensation to each side of the segment, regardless of the original segment width. Percentage Pull Compensation: Percentage Pull Compensation increases the width of a fill or satin segment in proportion to the original width. Recipe A collection of embroidery settings designed for specific fabrics. Running Stitch Consists of one stitch between two points. Used for outlining and fine detail. Satin Stitch Formed by closely arranged zig-zag stitches. Also known as a column stitch. Segment A single piece of a design that is created at one time. A segment has many properties such as its size, color, sequence in designs, stitch type and values, including stitching instructions. Select tool The Select tool allows you to select and modify individual or groups of outline segments. You can select outline segments by clicking on a single segment or by clicking and dragging to draw a box around parts of the design. Once you select outline segments, you can edit the segments.
