3 Specify the desired copy ratios. G To manually specify the copy ratios (XY Zoom): ❑ Use the numeric keys or press [-] or [+] on the touch panel display to enter values. ❑ Press [X] (horizontal axis) © enter a value. 1 ❑ Press [Y] (vertical axis) © enter a value. ❑ Press [OK]. Basic Copying Place the original on the platen glass if the zoom ratio is more than 400%. You can also enter values using 0 - 9 (numeric keys), and C (clear) to enter your entries. If you enter the ratio using 0 - 9 (numeric keys), you can change the entered values by pressing [-] or [+]. If you enter a value outside the setting range, a message prompting you to enter the appropriate value appears on the screen. The display returns to the Copy Basic Features screen, and the specified copy ratios are displayed. NOTE If you make a mistake when entering values, press [C] on the touch panel display © enter the correct values. G To have the copy ratios automatically specified (Auto XY Zoom): ❑ Press [Auto XY Zoom] © [OK].
