Taking the Battery Pack Out of Ship Mode Before you set up the computer, you must take the battery pack out of ship mode. s You must take the battery pack out of ship mode before you can charge and use the battery pack. s You do not need ship mode when you travel with or ship the computer. You can take the battery pack out of ship mode by removing and reinserting the battery pack: 1. Tilt the computer 1 to access the battery release features. 2. Slide the battery release latch 2 right while pulling on the battery pack from the recess 3 beneath the battery bay. This releases the battery pack from the battery bay. Taking the Battery Pack Out of Ship Mode
Before you set up the computer, you must take the battery pack
out of ship mode.
■
You must take the battery pack out of ship mode before you
can charge and use the battery pack.
■
You do not need ship mode when you travel with or ship the
computer.
You can take the battery pack out of ship mode by removing and
reinserting the battery pack:
1. Tilt the computer
