Setting Programmable Key Assignments Each of the four programmable keys can have one assignment within a single scheme. If you have never created a scheme, the default scheme is the current scheme and your key assignments will be saved to the default scheme. For information on using schemes, refer to "Setting a Scheme" in this section. Assigning or Reassigning a Programmable Key To assign or reassign a programmable key: 1. Click StartÆSettingsÆControl PanelÆdouble-click the Keyboard icon (Windows 95) or the Programmable Key icon (Windows NT)ÆProgrammable Keys tab. 2. Click the button next to the number of the programmable key you want to assign or reassign. NOTE: If you want to assign the key in other than the current scheme, click Show Advanced Options and select the scheme from the drop down list in the Scheme box. 3. Select an assignment for the programmable key. s If you did not check Show Advanced Options, click the Assign button. A dialog box appears listing the Microsoft Windows Logo keys and the contents of the Programs menu. NOTE: In most Microsoft applications, the Microsoft Left Windows Logo Key assignment and the Microsoft Right Windows Logo key assignment produce the same results. s If you did check Show Advanced Options, the Assign button changed to a Browse button. Click the Browse button and you can select from among all the files, folders, and applications in the system. 4. Highlight your selection and click OK. The name and icon of your selection appear beside the button of the programmable key. 5. Click OK to save the key assignment and close Keyboard Properties. When you press the programmable key you just assigned, the assigned application or file appears on screen. (If you assigned a logo key function, the programmable key now functions like the logo key.) Setting Programmable Key Assignments
Each of the four programmable keys can have one assignment

Assigning or Reassigning a Programmable Key
To assign or reassign a programmable key:
1. Click Start
