The following table shows how to access displays that provide battery pack information. The battery gauge popup window accessed by pressing Fn+F8, the battery meter icon, and the charge level lights on a battery pack are described following the table. Battery Power Displays Access Information Displayed Click StartÆSettingsÆControl PanelÆdouble-click the Power iconÆPower PropertiesÆPower tab Or, in Windows 95, click the Battery meter icon on the taskbarÆAdjust Power Properties. Current power source. Percent of a full charge remaining on each battery pack in system. Charge remaining in the system.* NOTE: The Power tab battery information varies slightly according to the power source in use when the tab is accessed. Rest the mouse cursor over the battery meter icon on the taskbar. Press the battery pack button on a battery pack. Current battery conservation setting. Charging status and percent of a full charge remaining in each battery pack in the system. Charge remaining in the system displayed as a percent of a full charge.
