Using the Compaq PC Card Solutions List Compaq offers a list of PC Cards, including 32-bit (CardBus) and Zoomed Video PC Cards, that are compatible with Compaq computers and meet rigorous Compaq quality standards. PC Cards listed in the Premier category are comprehensively tested by Compaq. PC Cards in the Standard category are vendortested and supported on specific Compaq computers and operating systems. The Compaq PC Card Solutions List is updated quarterly and is available at the Compaq Internet site at http://www.compaq.com. You may also be able to obtain the list from your Compaq authorized dealer, reseller, or service provider. For information, refer to "Worldwide Telephone Numbers" in Appendix A. PC Cards with this logo on their packaging and advertising are compatible with most Compaq portable computers. Configuring a PC Card Windows 95 automatically configures Plug and Play Devices. PC Cards are considered to be true Plug and Play Devices. If you are running Windows NT, you can use the preinstalled CardWare program to provide many Plug and Play features. For example, you can use CardWare to automatically configure a PC Card. To access CardWare, click StartÆPrograms ÆCardWare or double-click the PC Card icon in the system tray on the Windows taskbar. Compaq offers a list of PC Cards, including 32-bit (CardBus) and
