To Disable a Jetdirect Embedded Print Server (V.36.xx) NOTE: HP Jetdirect EIO and external print servers can be disabled by disconnecting them from the printer/MFP. You can disable an HP Jetdirect embedded print server by using the printer/MFP Service menu. This feature can help to isolate faults to either the printer or the print server. 1. Turn the printer on and watch for the memory count to begin. 2. Press and hold the Select  button (or the "6" button on MFPs with numeric keypads only) until the three control panel lights (Ready, Data, Attention) blink and then remain on. 3. Release the Select  button (or "6" button). The control panel will display Select. 4. Press the down arrow M button (or "9" button) until Embedded LAN disable appears. 5. Press the Select  button (or "6" button) to perform disable the embedded print server and then continue its power-on sequence. 6. Verify whether the printer/MFP properly completes its power-on sequence. To Disable a Jetdirect Embedded Print Server (V.36.xx)
NOTE:
HP Jetdirect EIO and external print servers can be disabled by disconnecting them from
the printer/MFP.
You can disable an HP Jetdirect embedded print server by using the printer/MFP Service menu. This

1.
Turn the printer on and watch for the memory count to begin.
2.
Press and hold the

button (or the “6” button on MFPs with numeric keypads only) until
