Jetdirect EIO Menus for Classic Control Panels Classic control panels are provided on older devices that support HP Jetdirect EIO print servers only. Classic control panels can typically display two lines of 16 characters each. You must use the available device keys to display and select HP Jetdirect settings. Typically, an asterisk (*) is used to identify the selected value. NO (default): Bypass the HP Jetdirect menu. YES: Access the HP Jetdirect menu. You must change this to YES* each time you want to access the menu. TCP/IP Identifies whether the protocol stack is enabled or disabled. IPX/SPX ON: The protocol is enabled. DLC/LLC OFF: The protocol is disabled. ATALK NOTE: The factory default setting depends on the print server model. For example, only TCP/IP is enabled on HP Jetdirect 635n print servers. CFG TCP/IP Selects whether you want to access the TCP/IP menu and set TCP/IP protocol parameters. NO (default): Bypass the TCP/IP menu items. YES: Access the TCP/IP menu items. ● BOOTP=YES* enables IPv4 configuration by a BootP Server. ● DHCP=YES* enables IPv4 configuration by a DHCP Server.
