If the control node is a server blade, Port 16 of the InfiniBand switch installed in Interconnect Module Bay 5/6 is wired to Port 16 of the InfiniBand switch installed in Interconnect Module Bay 7/8. If the configuration includes an external control node that is attached to the InfiniBand fabric, the InfiniBand HCA in the control node is connected to Port 16 of the InfiniBand switch installed in Interconnect Module Bay 5/6 and Port 16 of the InfiniBand switch installed in Interconnect Module Bay 7/8 is left unconnected.
