Removal & 6 Replacement Figure 6-11 6cardcg 6cardcgwmf Rear Exhaust Fan (FM2) The Rear Exhaust Fan is located on the left rear of the printer chassis, and requires prior removal of the Card Cage assembly. 1 Remove the Card Cage assembly (see Figure 6-10). 2 Unplug the fan cable connector and release it from its cable clip (Figure 6-11, callout 1). 3 Remove (2) small machine screws from the rear of the printer (Figure 6-11, callout 2). 4 Lift the fan up and away from the printer chassis, noting position of the cable on the upper right corner of the fan body (Figure 6-11, callout 3). Rear Exhaust Fan To Reinstall: Make sure the fan body is seated to the rear of the chassis mounting tabs. Removal and Replacement 6-17
Rear Exhaust Fan (FM2)
The Rear Exhaust Fan is located on the left rear of the printer chassis, and
requires prior removal of the Card Cage assembly.

Remove the Card Cage assembly (see Figure 6-10).

Unplug the fan cable connector and release it from its cable clip
(Figure 6-11, callout 1).

Remove (2) small machine screws from the rear of the printer (Figure 6-11,
callout 2).

Lift the fan up and away from the printer chassis, noting position of the
cable on the upper right corner of the fan body (Figure 6-11, callout 3).

To Reinstall:
Make sure the fan body is seated to the rear of the chassis mounting tabs.
