Removal & 6 Replacement CAUTION Figure 6-23 6spring 6springwmf MP Guide Plate The MP Guide plate is located adjacent to the MP Pickup Roller assembly and requires prior removal of the Paper Guide Plate assembly. The springs on each end of the plate are under tension. Be careful when releasing. 1 Using needle-nosed pliers, carefully release the tension on (2) springs (Figure 6-23). 2 Snap the left and right hinge retainers off the shafts on the bottom of the assembly. MP Guide Plate
The MP Guide plate is located adjacent to the MP Pickup Roller assembly
and requires prior removal of the Paper Guide Plate assembly.
CAUTION
The springs on each end of the plate are under tension.
Be careful when
releasing.

Using needle-nosed pliers, carefully release the tension on (2) springs
(Figure 6-23).

Snap the left and right hinge retainers off the shafts on the bottom of the
assembly. Lift the MP Guide plate assembly up and out.
