For example, it occurs if you are printing a very large quantity of pages with very little toner coverage. 1. The paper path is contaminated or damaged. Process a cleaning page. If the problem persists, replace the fuser. Check the all of the tray feed rollers. Clean or replace the rollers as necessary. 2. Replace the print cartridge. 3. Make sure that the type and quality of the media you are using meet HP specifications.

Shake the print cartridge gently to redistribute the toner.
