Normally, HP Instant Share setup is done during the installation process. If you are unable to do this, you can still use a software-based form of HP Instant Share provided that you have your HP PSC 2500 connected to a computer with Internet access and with the HP Photo & Imaging Gallery (HP Gallery) software installed. See the hp instant share network setup and use on page 197 and hp instant share direct connect setup and use on page 191 for additional information. share photos through e-mail The E-mail button on your HP PSC 2500 lets you easily share the selected photo(s) with anyone who has an e-mail account. 1 Select one or more photos. 2 Press E-mail. The E-mail List appears on the color graphics display of your HP PSC 2500. Enter the number of the appropriate e-mail address. Your HP PSC sends the photo(s) to the HP Instant SHare website and sends an e-mail message to the recipient with links to the photos. Note: If the HP PSC 2500 is not connected to a network, the E-mail button works differently. Your HP PSC transfers the currently displayed photo to the HP Gallery, and places it in the HP Instant Share tab tray as an attachment to an e-mail message you can then address and send from your computer. reference guide 33
