Setting Description Current Server IP Address This is a nonconfigurable field that displays the primary RADIUS server, or, if no RADIUS server is configured as the primary server, the most recently added RADIUS server. The field is blank if you did not yet configure any RADIUS servers. Number of Configured Servers This is a nonconfigurable field that displays the total number of configured RADIUS servers. The smart switch supports up to three configured RADIUS servers. Max Number of Retransmits Timeout Duration (secs) Accounting Mode The maximum number of times a request packet is retransmitted to the RADIUS server. You can specify a number from 1 to 15. The default value is 4, which allows for four retransmissions. The time-out period, in seconds, for a RADIUS request or retransmission request. You can specify a number from 1 to 30. The default value is 5 seconds. From the menu, select whether RADIUS accounting is enabled: • Disable. RADIUS accounting is disabled. This is the default setting. • Enable. RADIUS accounting is enabled. You need to configure an accounting server (see Manage the RADIUS Accounting Server on page 154). 3. Click the Apply button. The settings are saved. Manage the RADIUS Servers Use the Server Configuration screen to add, view, change, and remove RADIUS servers. You can add up to three RADIUS servers, of which only one can be the active (primary) RADIUS server. Add a RADIUS Server and View the Statistics To add a RADIUS server and view the statistics: 1.
