ProSAFE FS526Tv2, FS726Tv2, and FS728TLP Smart Switches Settings Source IP Address Description Specify the IP address of the source or destination device that needs to be compared against the source address information in a packet. Enter an IP address in the dotted-decimal notation. Source IP Mask Specify the IP subnet mask that is associated with the source IP address. The IP subnet mask specifies which bits in the source IP address need to be compared against the source address information in a packet. Note: A subnet mask of 255.255.255.255 indicates that none of the bits are important. A subnet mask of 0.0.0.0 indicates that all of the bits are important. For example, if you apply source IP mask 0.0.0.255 to IP address 192.168.0.10, the ACL applies to IP addresses 192.168.0.0 through 192.168.0.255. 8. Click the Add button. The rule is added to the Source IP Address Rules Table. 9. Click the Apply button. The settings are saved, and the IP Binding Configuration screen displays. 10. From the ACL ID menu, select the IP ACL to which you want to bind ports, LAGs, or both. Note: The Direction menu is fixed at Inbound. Only incoming packets can be filtered. 11. (Optional) In the Sequence Number field, enter a number in the range from 1 to 4,294,967,295. The sequence number specifies the order of the ACL relative to existing ACLs that are bound to the same interface or interfaces. A lower number specifies a higher precedence Manage Access Control Lists 187
