7. Troubleshooting Panel Indicator The following table explains the meaning of the various indicator patterns that the printer alerts to users about its conditions. Indicator patterns The Alert indicator is lit. The Alert indicator is flashing in yellow. The Data In indicator is flashing. The Data In indicator is lit. The Power indicator is lit. Cause The printer cannot be used normally. Check the error on the control panel. Toner has nearly run out. The printer is receiving print data from a computer. There is data to be printed. The printer is ready for use. 176
