Problems to connect to a PC or another device Not possible to establish connection using cable • Make sure that the SyncStation and cable is correctly connected to the PC. • Make sure that the correct COM port on the PC is enabled. Right-click the P910i link symbol in the PC taskbar, and select Properties. Select the USB COM port. • Make sure the device lock is not active. • Uninstall Sony Ericsson PC Suite. Connect the SyncStation with the P910i to the PC. Reinstall Sony Ericsson PC Suite, following the installation procedure carefully. • Check for Sony Ericsson PC Suite updates on www.SonyEricsson.com/support. If you find a new version of the program, download it and install this instead of the old one. Cannot transfer Place the P910i in the SyncStation. In the PC, open pictures My P910i and browse through the P910i file system to find the picture. Cannot establish connection with a Bluetooth wireless technology handset or handsfree • Make sure that the devices are correctly paired. See 'Connection via Bluetooth wireless technology' on page 136. • Make sure that the handset or handsfree is charged. • Make sure that the devices are in range with each other. Cannot find PC • You can find PC software on software for www.SonyEricsson.com/support and also on downloading local sites. Cannot use my P910i as a modem • First ask your service provider to enable your data connection. • Then connect your P910i to your PC with cable, Bluetooth technology, or infrared. See "Using your P910i as a modem" on page 174, "Connecting to other devices" on page 134, and Knowledge base on www.SonyEricsson.com/support Cannot transfer items with Bluetooth wireless technology • Make sure that Bluetooth wireless technology is activated. • Make sure that the devices are in range with each other.
