xStack® DGS-3120 Series Managed Switch Web UI Reference Guide Figure 5-2 IPv4 Static/Default Route Settings window The fields that can be configured are described below: Parameter Description IP Address This field allows the entry of an IPv4 address to be assigned to the Static or Default route. Netmask This field allows the entry of a subnet mask to be applied to the corresponding subnet mask of the IP address. Gateway This field allows the entry of a Gateway IP Address to be applied to the corresponding gateway of the IP address. Metric Represents the metric value of the IP interface entered into the table. This field may read a number between 1 and 65535. Backup State Each IP address can only have one primary route, while other routes should be assigned to the backup state. When the primary route failed, switch will try the backup routes according to the order learnt by the routing table until route success. The field represents the Backup state that the Static and Default Route is configured for. Click the Apply button to accept the changes made. IPv4 Route Table The IP routing table stores all the external routes information of the switch. On this page the user can view all the external route information on the switch.
