Decline in Print Quality Problem Solution The print quality is not what you expected. The printed page is dirty, vertical bands or streaks appear on the page, or the print quality is uneven. Printer components may not be properly installed. Make sure the developer unit and drum unit are properly installed. Printer components may be dirty. To clean components, follow the steps in the Routine Printer Cleaning section in Chapter 6. Also clean the main charger wire as described in the General Printer Maintenance section in Chapter 6.
