Assembling the Printer 15. Now close the printer cover by pressing down on the ridged area on the right side of the cover. Installing the paper cassette 1. Locate the paper cassette opening on the right side of the printer. Align the hooks on either side of the paper cassette with the slots in the opening. Make sure you have removed any tape in the opening. 2. Insert the paper cassette into the printer in the direction of the arrow on the side of the cassette. Push the cassette in until it goes no further, then lower the end of the cassette (the end you insert paper into) until the cassette drops into place. CAUTION: It is particularly important to lower the cassette into place. If the paper cassette is not installed properly, the control panel may display a PAPER EM P TV error. 15. Now close the printer cover by pressing down on the ridged
area on the right side of the cover.
Installing the paper cassette

Locate the paper cassette opening on the right side of the printer.
Align the hooks on either side of the paper cassette with the slots
in the opening. Make sure you have removed any tape in the
opening.

Insert the paper cassette into the printer in the direction of the
arrow on the side of the cassette. Push the cassette in until it
goes no further, then lower the end of the cassette (the end you
insert paper into) until the cassette drops into place.
CAUTION: It is particularly important to lower the cassette
into place. If the paper cassette is not installed properly,
the control panel may display a PAPER
EM P TV error.
