Remote Control Buttons Overview The remote control is included with select models only. Features and location may vary. A A Standby puts the HP Media Center PC into B and out of a power-reduced state. C DVD MENU TV Q R RADIO MUSIC PICTURES VIDEOS B DVD Menu opens the Play DVD window or opens the main menu of a DVD movie, if available. D S T C Music opens the My Music window. D Radio opens the Radio window. RECORD PLAY STOP E U REW FWD E Record records a selected television program and F PAUSE V stores it on the hard disk drive when in Live TV REPLAY mode. The Record button is inactive for all other G SKIP W media. H F Rew (Rewind) moves the media backward at two speeds. J BACK X MORE G Replay moves media backward 7 seconds. Y H Pause pauses audio and video tracks and live or K OK recorded TV programs. J Back returns HP Media Center PC to the previous window within Media Center. L VOLUME CH/PG K Arrow buttons move the cursor to navigate and select actions within all Media Center windows. M L Start opens Media Center to the Start menu. M Volume increases (+) and decreases (-) volume. N Live TV is a shortcut to the full-screen view of live TV. Moves a TV program forward to the end of the N pause buffer and resumes playing live TV. O O Guide opens the Television Program Guide. P Clear deletes the last character entered. Q TV opens the My TV window. MUTE LIVE TV GUIDE RECORDED TV 1 GHI 4 PQRS 7 ABC DEF 2 3 JKL MNO 5 6 TUV WXYZ 8 9 Z AA BB CC R Pictures opens the My Pictures window. S Videos opens the My Videos window. T Play plays the selected media. U Stop stops the media currently playing. * 0 # P CLEAR PRINT ENTER DD EE V Fwd (Fast-forward) moves media forward at three speeds.
