Device Defaults From this page, you can set up or change the operation panel display language, operation panel key restrictions, and the printer's sleep timing. From this page, you can set up or change the operation panel display language, operation panel key restrictions, and the
printer's sleep timing.
3-2. Security
You can restrict access from the COMMAND CENTER to various pages (except the Start page) by setting an
administrator password.
Note:
By default, no administrator password is set. We recommend setting an administrator password to prevent
unauthorized changes to the IB-23 settings.
The password can be up to 16 characters long.
Make a note of the password in case you forget.
The administrator password can also be set using Advanced > Security > Account Setup.
Follow these steps to set up or change the password.

Enter the current password in the old password field. (No input required when setting the password for the first
time.)

Choose the language for the operation panel display.
Lock Operation Panel
