Note: 120 is the factory default setting. Specify a contact name for the scanner. Note: The contact name is stored on the Embedded Web Server. Specify the location of the scanner. Note: The location is stored on the Embedded Web Server. Set an alarm to sound when the scanner requires operator intervention. For each alarm type, select from the following options: Off Single Continuous Notes: • Single is the factory default setting for Alarm Control. This sounds three quick beeps. • Off is the factory default setting for Cartridge Alarm, Staple Alarm, and Hole Punch Alarm. This means no alarm will sound. • Continuous repeats three beeps every 10 seconds. Specify the number of minutes of inactivity before the scanner enters a lower power state. Note: 15 is the factory default setting. Set the amount of time in minutes the scanner waits after a job is printed before the scanner and the printer go into a reduced power state. Notes: • 45 is the factory default setting. • Lower settings conserve more energy, but may require longer warm‑up times. • Select the lowest setting if the scanner and the printer share an electrical circuit with room lighting or you notice lights flickering in the room. • Select a high setting if the scanner and the printer are in constant use. Under most circumstances, this keeps the printer ready to print with minimum warm‑up time. • "Disabled" appears only if Energy Conserve is set to Off. Set the amount of time in seconds the scanner waits before returning the scanner display to a Ready state. Note: 30 is the factory default setting.
