Setting Controller Role Controller IP VRRP ID [1-255] Local IP Description This is a nonconfigurable field that shows that the role of the primary controller. In a 1:1 redundancy configuration, by default, the role is master. This is a nonconfigurable field that shows the IP address of the primary controller. This IP address is the address that you use to log in to the primary controller's web management interface. Note: The controller IP address of the primary controller (the master) is also the master IP address. For the primary controller, enter a number from 1 through 255 as the VRRP ID. This number must be unique and not assigned to any other device in the network. For the primary controller, enter a local IP address. If a failover occurs, this IP address remains assigned to the primary controller and does not transfer to the redundant controller to let you identify the primary controller before and after the failover.
