Change the Password on an Access Point Do not change the password on a controller-managed access point. The admin password of the wireless controller is pushed to all access points that the wireless controller manages. If you do change the password on a controller-managed access point, the change is automatically reversed when the access point synchronizes with the wireless controller and the password of the wireless controller is pushed to the access point.
