Create NAS Container Wizard The Create NAS Container wizard guides you through the process of creating a NAS container. This wizard includes the following screens: • Container Name • Data Reduction • Space Settings • Create Share • Summary NOTE: The process for creating a NAS thin clone is similar, but with the following exceptions: • The Name field is populated with a default container name. • Data reduction cannot be configured. • The size of a thin clone is inherited from its parent container. You cannot modify the size while the clone is being created, but you can change it later with the Modify settings option. • A thin clone is fully thin provisioned while it is being created. You can change the minimum reserve later with the Modify settings option. • The in-use space limit of a thin clone is inherited from its parent container. You cannot modify the limit while the clone is being created, but you can change it later with the Modify settings option. Table 186.
