NAS Configuration Window The NAS Configuration window, which appears after you run the Configure NAS Cluster wizard, shows the progress of the NAS cluster configuration. The rest of the group remains operational while the NAS cluster is being configured. When the configuration succeeds, the progress window displays a success message. During the NAS cluster configuration, you might see the following message: Status of 0 is failed. Status of 1 is failed. You can disregard this message. When the configuration is complete, the progress window provides links for performing the following NAS cluster configuration tasks: • Setting the SMB administrator password, which clients use to access the SMB shares that you create • Configuring Active Directory for external authentication for Windows clients • Displaying information about the NAS cluster configuration • Creating NAS containers, where SMB shares and NFS exports reside NAS Container and Snapshot Space Panel Table 378.
