Snapshot Summary Panel Field Snapshot settings Snapshot reserve In-use space warning limit Space recovery Description Percentage of the volume reserve allocated for snapshots. You can modify the percentage in Modify snapshot settings. Percentage of the snapshot reserve that, when reached by in-use snapshot reserve, results in an event message. The default is 90% of the snapshot reserve. For example, if snapshot reserve space is 200MB and the warning level is 90%, a warning occurs when inuse snapshot reserve equals or exceeds 180MB. You can modify the percentage in Modify snapshot settings. Method for recovering space when the snapshot reserve is full: • Delete oldest snapshot - When creating a snapshot exceeds the snapshot reserve, this option deletes the oldest snapshots to free sufficient snapshot reserve (the groupwide default). • Set volume and snapshots offline - When creating a snapshot exceeds the snapshot reserve, this option sets the volume and snapshots offline. The group terminates active iSCSI connections before deleting a snapshot. You can modify the method in Modify snapshot settings.
