Introduced on the E-Series. When you use the mac-flood-list command with the min-speed option in combination with the restrict-flood command, the mac-flood-list command has higher priority than the restrict-flood command. Therefore, all multicast frames matching the mac-address range specified using the macflood-list command are flooded according to the mac-flood-list command. Only the multicast frames not matching the mac-address range specified using the mac-floodlist command are flooded according to the restrict-flood command. restrict-flooding - prevents Layer 2 multicast traffic from being forwarded on ports below a specified speed. mtrace Trace a multicast route from the source to the receiver. E-Series Syntax Parameters mtrace {source-address/hostname} {destination-address/hostname} {group-address} source-address/ hostname destinationaddress/ hostname group-address Enter the source IP address in dotted decimal format (A.B.C.D). Enter the destination (receiver) IP address in dotted decimal format (A.B.C.D). Enter the multicast group address in dotted decimal format (A.B.C.D).
