ip pim bsr-candidate Configure the PIM router to join the Bootstrap election process. C-Series, E-Series, S-Series, Z-Series, S4810 Syntax Parameters ip pim bsr-candidate interface [hash-mask-length] [priority] To return to the default value, use the no ip pim bsr-candidate command. interface Enter the following keywords and slot/port or number information: • For a 1-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword GigabitEthernet followed by the slot/port information. • For a Loopback interface, enter the keyword loopback followed by a number from 0 to 16383. • For a Port Channel interface, enter the keywords portchannel followed by a number. For the C-Series and SSeries, the range is 1 to 128. For the E-Series, the range is 1 to 255 for TeraScale and 1 to 512 for ExaScale. • For a SONET interface, enter the keyword sonet followed by the slot/port information. • For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword TenGigabitEthernet followed by the slot/port information. • For a VLAN, enter the keyword vlan followed by a number from 1 to 4094. hash-masklength priority (OPTIONAL) Enter the hash mask length. The range is zero (0) to 32. The default is 30. (OPTIONAL) Enter the priority used in Bootstrap election process. The range is zero (0) to 255. The default is zero (0).
