command to explicitly configure the unit ID of a VLT peer. You must configure a different unit ID (0 or 1) on each peer switch. Use this command to minimize the time required for the VLT system to determine the unit ID assigned to each peer switch when one peer reboots. vlt domain Enable VLT on a switch, configure a VLT domain, and enter VLT-domain configuration mode. Z-Series, S4810 Syntax Parameters vlt domain domain-id domain-id Enter the Domain ID number. You must configure the same domain ID on the peer switch. The range of domain IDs is 1 to 1000. If the domain ID is not the same, a syslog message is generated and VLT does not launch. show vlt - uses the show vlt brief command to display the delay-restore value. vlt-peer-lag port-channel Associate the port channel to the corresponding port channel in the VLT peer for the VLT connection to an attached device.
