Usage Information When you create a VLT domain on a switch, FTOS automatically creates a VLT-system MAC address used for internal system operations. Use the system-mac command to reconfigure the default MAC address for the domain by entering a new MAC address in the format nn:nn:nn:nn:nn:nn.. You must also reconfigure the same MAC address on the VLT peer switch. unit-id Explicitly configure the default unit ID of a VLT peer switch. Z-Series, S4810 Syntax Parameters Defaults Command Modes Command History unit-id [0 | 1] 0 | 1 Configure the default unit ID of a VLT peer switch. Enter 0 for the first peer or enter 1 for the second peer. Automatically assigned based on the MAC address of each VLT peer.
