neighbor advertisement-interval Set the advertisement interval between BGP neighbors or within a BGP peer group. C-Series, E-Series TeraScale, S-Series Syntax neighbor {ip-address | peer-group-name} advertisement-interval seconds To return to the default value, use the no neighbor {ip-address | peer-groupname} advertisement-interval command. Parameters ip-address peer-group-name seconds (OPTIONAL) Enter the IP address of the neighbor in dotted decimal format. Enter the name of the peer group to set the advertisement interval for all routers in the peer group. Enter a number as the time interval, in seconds, between BGP advertisements. The range is 0 to 600 seconds. The default is 5 seconds for internal BGP peers and 30 seconds for external BGP peers. Parameters ip-address peer-group-name (OPTIONAL) Enter the IP address of the neighbor in dotted decimal format.
