3) Turn the small right knob to display a window of available approaches for the selected airport (Figure 7-18). Continue turning the small right knob to select the desired approach. To remove the flashing cursor, press the small right knob. NOTE: Not all approaches in the database are approved for GPS use. When selecting an approach, a 'GPS' designation to the right of the procedure name indicates the procedure can be flown using the GPS receiver. Some procedures do not have this designation, meaning the GPS receiver may be used for supplemental navigation guidance only.
