SECTION 9 AUX PAGES Flight Planning Page: Fuel Planning Performing fuel planning operations: 1) Select 'Fuel Planning' from the Flight Planning Page, using the steps described in Section 9.2. 2) The current fuel planning 'mode' is displayed at the top of the page (Figure 9-7): 'POINT TO POINT' or 'FPL' (for a flight plan). To change the mode, press the MENU Key to display the Fuel Planning Page Menu (Figure 9-8) for the other mode, then press the ENT Key to accept the other mode. 3) For point-to-point fuel planning (Figure 9-9), turn the small and large right knobs to enter the identifier of the 'from' waypoint. Once the waypoint's identifier is entered, press the ENT Key to accept the waypoint. The flashing cursor moves to the 'to' waypoint. Again, turn the small and large right knobs to enter the identifier of the 'to' waypoint and press the ENT Key to accept the waypoint. Turn the large right knob to highlight the 'LEG' field and turn the small right knob to select the desired leg of the flight plan, or select 'Cum' to apply fuel planning calculations to the entire flight plan. In these installations, use the 'Change Fields?' option to review separate fuel information for left and right engines.
