Predefined user roles network-admin Parameters ipv6-multicast-address: Specifies an IPv6 multicast IP address. An IPv6 multicast client and server must be configured with the same multicast address. authentication-keyid keyid: Specifies the key ID to be used for sending multicast messages to multicast clients, where keyid is in the range of 1 to 4294967295. If this option is not specified, the local device cannot synchronize clients enabled with NTP authentication. ttl ttl-number: Specifies the TTL of NTP multicast messages, where ttl-number is in the range of 1 to 255. The default value is 16. Usage guidelines After you configure this command, the device periodically sends NTP messages to the specified IPv6 multicast address. If you have configured the device to operate in IPv6 multicast server mode on an interface with this command, do not add the interface to any aggregate group. To add the interface to an aggregate group, remove the configuration of the command.
