Configuring NTP in broadcast mode A broadcast server must be synchronized by other devices or use its local clock as a reference source before synchronizing a broadcast client. Otherwise, the broadcast client will not be synchronized to the broadcast server. Configure NTP in broadcast mode on both broadcast server and client. Configuring a broadcast client Step 1. Enter system view. 2. Enter VLAN interface view. Command system-view interface interface-type interface-number 3. Configure the device to operate in broadcast client mode. ntp-service broadcast-client Remarks N/A Enter the VLAN interface for receiving NTP broadcast messages. By default, the device does not operate in broadcast client mode. After you execute the command, the device receives NTP broadcast messages from the specified VLAN interface.
