Printing-system software ● Operating-system support ● Availability Operating-system support Windows operating systems provide full-featured support for the product. Operating systems that are not described in this STR provide varying levels of functionality. NOTE: Throughout this STR, Windows XP is used to denote Windows XP Home Edition, and Windows XP Professional, unless noted otherwise. The printing-system software does not support Windows 3.1x, Windows NT® 4.0, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Millennium Edition (Me), or Windows Server 2000. For more information about the product, go to the following Web site: www.hp.com/support/ljm1319 ● Supported operating systems ● Supported product software Supported operating systems The product supports the following operating systems: Full software installation ● Windows 2000 ● Windows XP (32-bit) ● Windows Vista (32-bit) ● Mac OS X v10.3.9, v10.4, v10.5, and later Print and scan drivers only ● Windows 2003 Server (32-bit and 64-bit) ● Windows XP (64-bit) ● Windows Vista (64-bit) NOTE: For Mac OS X v10.4 and later, PPC and Intel Core Processor Macs are supported. Supported product software Software included with the product There are options for completing the printing-system software installation. Easy Install (recommended) will complete the installation with default settings.
