Printing from a Computer „„For USB Connection Follow the procedure below to connect a USB cable and install a printer driver on your computer. Note ●● You must be logged in as an administrator to complete this procedure. Memo ●● You can skip this procedure if the printer driver is already installed on your computer. 1 Prepare a USB cable. A USB cable is not supplied with your machine. Prepare a USB 2.0 cable separately. 5 Insert "Software DVD-ROM" into the computer. 6 Click [Run Setup.exe] after [AutoPlay] is displayed. If the [User Account Control] dialog box is displayed, click [Yes]. 7 Select the language and then click [Next]. 8 Select the device of your machine, and then click [Next]. 5 Memo ●● Use a USB 2.0 Hi-Speed cable for a USB 2.0 HiSpeed connection. 2 Hold down the power switch for approximately one second to turn off the power. 9 Read the license agreement and then click [I Agree]. 10 Read the "Environmental advice for Users" and click [Next]. 3 Plug one end of the USB cable into the USB interface connector on the back of the machine. Prepare a USB cable.
A USB cable is not supplied with your machine.
Prepare a USB 2.0 cable separately.
Memo
●
Use a USB 2.0 Hi-Speed cable for a USB 2.0 Hi-
Speed connection.

Hold down the power switch for
approximately one second to turn off the
power.

Plug one end of the USB cable into the
USB interface connector on the back of
the machine.

Turn on the computer.

Insert “Software DVD-ROM” into the
computer.

Click [
Run Setup.exe
] after [
AutoPlay
]
is displayed.
If the [
User Account Control
] dialog box is
displayed, click [
Yes
].

Select the language and then click

Next

Select the device of your machine, and
then click [

Read the license agreement and then

I Agree
