Fan-sink retention module Fan-sink mounting bracket 12. If you are instructed to return the system board, follow all packaging instructions, and use any packaging materials for shipping that are supplied to you. Installing the system board To install the system board, complete the following steps: 1. Touch the static-protective package that contains the system board to any unpainted metal surface on the server. Then, remove the system board from the package. 2. Place the fan sink mounting bracket underneath the system board and align the holes on fan sink mounting bracket with the four screw holes for the fan sink retention module slot on system board. Place the fan sink retention module on top of the system board and align it with the four screw holes for the fan sink retention module slot (make sure that the fan sink retention module orientation of the is correct).
