Installing and removing options Removing an optional INA card Warning: System board electrical components are easily damaged by static electricity. Touch something metal on the printer before touching any system board electronic components or connectors. Remove the system board metal plate (see Accessing the system board). 1 Remove the two screws on either side of the connector slot. 2 Pull the optional card straight out of the system board connector. Note: Place the optional card in its original packaging to avoid damage. If the original packaging was not saved, wrap the card in lint-free paper and store it in a box. 3 Align the metal plate, which was removed to install the INA, to cover the connector slot. 4 Insert the two screws into the holes, and gently tighten the screws to secure the metal plate to the connector slot. 4 3 5 Replace the system board metal plate. Removing an optional INA card
Remove the system board metal plate (see

).

Remove the two screws on either side of the connector slot.

Pull the optional card straight out of the system board connector.
Note:
Place the optional card in its original packaging to avoid damage. If the original packaging was not
saved, wrap the card in lint-free paper and store it in a box.

Align the metal plate, which was removed to install the INA, to cover the connector slot.

Insert the two screws into the holes, and gently tighten the screws to secure the metal plate to the connector slot.
