To replace a photoconductor unit, see the Replacing a photoconductor unit sheet that comes with a replacement photoconductor unit. Warning: Save the box and packaging from a new photoconductor unit. A bag and a box are needed to store each of the cyan, magenta, and yellow photoconductor units. They are removed and stored to protect them from exposure to light when printing black-only text and art for long periods. Replacing the fuser When 80 Fuser life warning appears on the operator panel, replace the fuser soon. Make sure one is on order. See Ordering a fuser for more information. When 80 Replace Fuser appears on the operator panel, replace the fuser immediately. CAUTION: The fuser and the inside of the printer near the fuser may be hot. Wait for it to cool before replacing the fuser. To replace the fuser, see the Replacing the fuser sheet that comes with a replacement fuser. Replacing the waste toner box When 82 Waste toner box nearly full appears on the operator panel, replace the waste toner box soon. Make sure one is on order.
