Deleting Images and Sound Files Protecting All Images and Sound Files 1 Touch [All Images/Sounds] on the Protect screen. A confirmation dialog appears. Protect all images/sounds Protect Unpro- Cancel tect 2 Touch [Protect]. All the images and sound files are protected. Memo To change the Protect setting on all your images and sound files, select [Unprotect] in Step 2. 4 Recovering Deleted Images You can recover images that have been deleted by mistake. Images that can be recovered are recovered under their original file names. Caution • Not all deleted images can be recovered. The number of images that can be recovered changes according to how the camera is used. • There is a higher probability that images can be recovered if you recover the image immediately after it has been deleted by mistake. Images become less likely to be recovered if you take several pictures after an image has been deleted. So, we recommend recovering images immediately after they have been deleted. 1 In the Playback mode, touch the LCD monitor. The [Playback Toolbar] appears. 2 Touch the n icon. Touch [All Images/Sounds] on the
Protect screen.
A confirmation dialog appears.

Touch [Protect].
All the images and sound files are protected.
Memo
To change the Protect setting on all your images and sound files, select
[Unprotect] in Step 2.
You can recover images that have been deleted by mistake.
Images that can be recovered are recovered under their original file
names.
Caution
