2 Camera Features Enjoy Taking Pictures You can take beautiful pictures by simply composing your picture and pressing the shutter release button. To view and edit the pictures you have captured, just touch the LCD monitor to perform the desired operation. This section looks at the basics of how to capture, play back, and edit pictures. 1 2 Point the Camera Turn on the camera (p.20) and point it in the direction of your subject. To prevent camera shake, hold the camera steady with both hands. 2 Compose Your Shot Compose your shot using the LCD monitor. You can use the zoom lever to choose the area you want to capture (p.50). Camera Features 3 Focus On the Subject Lightly press the shutter release button to set AUTO PICT 38 the focus.
