3. Using a Printer Server 18. Assign the printer to the created print server. Click [Assignments], and then click [Add] in the [Assignments] area. 19. In the [Available objects] box, click the queue you created, and then click [OK]. 20. In the [Printers] area, click the printer you assigned, and then click [Printer Number]. 21. Enter the printer number, and then click [OK]. Check the settings, and then click [OK]. Use the same printer number specified as the remote printer number using Web Image Monitor. 22. Start the print server by entering the following from the console of the NetWare server. 3 If the print server is in operation, quit and restart it. For details about the login user name and password, consult your network administrator. The Web browser might be configured to auto complete login dialog boxes by retaining user names and passwords. This function reduces security. To prevent the browser retaining user names and passwords, disable the browser's auto complete function. 4. In the menu area, click [Configuration]. 5. Under "Network", click [NetWare]. 6. Confirm the settings, and then click [OK]. Configuration is now complete. Wait several minutes before restarting Web Image Monitor. 7. Click [Logout]. 8. Quit Web Image Monitor. • If you cannot identify the printer you want to configure, check the printer name against the configuration page printed from the printer. • If no printer names appear in the list, match the frame types of IPX/SPXs for the computer and printer. Use the [Network] dialog box of Windows to change the frame type of the computer. 128
