Program the LDAP server to find e-mail destinations in the LDAP server Address Book directly. This function is possible when sending scan files by e-mail using the scanner or fax function. To start an LDAP search, make sure that the items listed below are set. For other items, check your environment and make any necessary changes. • Server Name • Search Base • Port Number • Authentication • Search Conditions If [Kerberos Authentication] is selected be sure to set the "User Name", "Password", and "Realm Name". If [Digest Authentication] or [Cleartext Authentication] is selected be sure to set the "User Name" and "Password". To use the LDAP server in Administrator Tools, select [On] under "LDAP Search". The LDAP version 2.0 does not support Digest Authentication. To select Kerberos Authentication, a realm must be registered in advance. This function supports LDAP version 2.0 and 3.0.
Program the LDAP server to find e-mail destinations in the LDAP server Address Book directly.
This function is possible when sending scan files by e-mail using the scanner or fax function.
To start an LDAP search, make sure that the items listed below are set. For other items, check your
environment and make any necessary changes.

Search Conditions
If [Kerberos Authentication] is selected be sure to set the "User Name", "Password", and "Realm Name".
If [Digest Authentication] or [Cleartext Authentication] is selected be sure to set the "User Name" and
"Password".
To use the LDAP server in Administrator Tools, select [On] under "LDAP Search".
The LDAP version 2.0 does not support Digest Authentication.
